Leneva

LENEVA – FAT PAD RELACEMENT THERAPY
Leneva™ is an FDA approved treatment that podiatrists use for fat pad restoration, as well as to treat high pressure areas (such as the heels, balls of the feet, bunions, etc…) and painful corns and calluses.
Leneva is a natural, FDA-approved treatment for foot pain that provides immediate and long-term relief. The injection is made of a fat, or adipose, matrix. The tissue used is donated and sterilized human fat tissues for reconstruction.
Once Leneva™ is injected into your foot’s subcutaneous layer, your body uses this scaffold to produce new fat cells. This in-turn repairs and rebuilds the damaged fat padding that once cushioned the pressure points in your feet. No steroid injections or surgery required! The treatment itself happens in-office.
Although the filler material can last 12-24 months, the new collagen formation provides long-lasting relief even after the filler has naturally broken down.
The side effects of Leneva injections are mild and might include redness, discomfort, and bruising in the injection sites.
You can return to work and other normal activities 3-5 days after the procedure depending on the injection site. You are typically placed in an offloading surgical shoe for about 2 weeks following the procedure for plantar (bottom of the foot) fat pad replacement.
Insurance companies do NOT pay for LENEVA® injections.
